At level C1 you will have a good command of English language without any restrictions on what you would like to say or write and you will understand everything you hear.

Usually people at this level don’t make mistakes and you can express yourself effortlessly. You will be able to understand different and long texts and get the implicit meaning. You can speak fluently without loosing time thinking about words and expressions that you should use. Professionally, socially and in an academic environment you can use English flexibily and in a clear and understandable way. You can write detailed, well-structured and complex texts about a wide range of themes.

At the end of this level of your English Course you will speak and write like a native and feel good whatever the context is and will be able to say precisely what you want without constraints.

BUSINESS English C1

SCOPE

To learn Advanced Business English, in all language aspects and in an efficient way.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

  • To understand long presentations
  • To understand TV programs and movies without difficulties
  • To understand long and complex texts
  • To communicate fluently, flexibly and efficiently
  • To present clear and detailed descriptions about complex themes.
  • To write in a clear and structured way and with some complexity.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

  • To understand a wide range of long and demanding texts, recognizing the implicit meanings
  • To express oneself in a fluent way and spontaneously without taking too much time to find the most adequate words/expressions
  • To use English flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes
  • To express oneself clearly and in a well-structured way, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.

TARGET

People who wish to develop their Business English for personal reasons but above all for professional reasons.

APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY

Face to face classes in companies, in our school or via Skype.

At first students do a language level test of the language they intend to study. After assessing their level, the course curriculum is adapted accordingly.

Classes length depend on student’s availability. During the course the teacher uses different resources always based on practice (case studies, role play, videos, audios, games, etc.).

The teacher is always bilingual or native.

EVALUATION

The evaluation is continuous, all along the course the teacher evaluates the students regarding the following parameters:

  • Knowledge of the subjects
  • Vocabulary use
  • Phonetics/pronunciation
  • Progression
  • Participation/motivation
  • Homework
  • Reading comprehension
  • Listening comprehension
  • Writing
  • Grammar
  • Evaluation test

Every 20 hours, students have a written and oral test and they are evaluated regarding their knowledge and progression. At the same time, students evaluate the teacher performance.

In the end each student will receive an individual evaluation report and a certificate.
